Concept & Identity

What is Bagelstein?

Bagelstein is an artisan bagel and coffee shop concept built around a simple but uncompromising idea: everything on the menu is made fresh, every day, by our own bakers and pastry chefs.

At the heart of our menu is the bagel, of course – hand-made, poached in boiling water before baking, made without preservatives or artificial additives, and never frozen. The menu is organised around three ranges:

Iconic covers the original recipes that built the brand: smoked salmon, pastrami, chicken, and veggie.
Easy features slightly smaller, more accessible bagels designed for everyday occasions, such as our bestselling scrambled egg, bacon, and cheddar bagel.
Selection is the premium hot range: pulled beef with melted cheddar and fried onions, fried cod with tartare sauce and fresh herbs, fried chicken with satay sauce. Think bagel meets burger, but so much better… and our sales figures agree.
Alongside the bagels, the menu includes cookies, brownies, muffins, cheesecakes, banana bread, carrot cake, crumbles, and seasonal additions that give customers a reason to return throughout the year. Bagelstein is a genuinely all-day concept, generating consistent revenue from the first morning coffee through to lunch and dinner, a commercial advantage that few other food concepts can match.

What Bagelstein is NOT

Bagelstein is not just somewhere which sells sandwiches with a hole in the middle.

This is a brand with genuine personality: warm, funny, and deliberately unlike every other food concept on the market. One which creates a level of customer loyalty most food businesses spend years and significant marketing budgets trying to manufacture.

Customers do not simply return because the food is good – they return because they like who Bagelstein is, and how it makes them feel when they visit.

That combination of product quality and brand character is what has driven fifteen years of growth and what makes this UK investment opportunity so compelling for the right investor.
